- Pick-Up: Dancers must be picked up promptly after class. Parents should wait outside the studio building for their child.

- Late Pick-Up: Consistently late pick-ups may result in a fee at the discretion of the owner.
Thank you for helping us maintain a smooth and safe process for all our students!
Lobby Updates: We’ve updated our lobby policies to better serve our dancers and families. The Parent Lobby Section is now limited to brief visits for specific purposes only. These changes are designed to create a focused and efficient environment for everyone.
Parent Guidelines for Lobby Use:
- Lobby Access: The Parent Section is open to one parent per dancer and only for drop-off, pick-up, or to make cash or check payments. Seating is limited, and no food or drinks are permitted in the Parent Lobby.
- Lobby and Studio: Parents are not permitted hang out in the Lobby or enter the Dance Studios. Our teachers and assistants will handle shoe changes and ensure dancers are prepared for class.
Zoom Guidelines
We understand the importance of keeping parents connected to their child’s learning experience. To support this, we offer Zoom links exclusively for parents of dancers aged 3-4 and 5-7 years old. This allows parents to observe their child’s class virtually when needed.
- Access for Classes of Ages 3-4 and 5-7 Only: Zoom links are available exclusively for parents of children in these age groups.
- Joining Zoom: Please log in at the start of class to avoid delays. Late entries may need to wait until the instructor has time to admit participants.
- Not a Substitute: Zoom is intended as a viewing option for parents and is not a replacement for regular in-person attendance by the student.
These policies are designed to provide a balance of parent involvement while maintaining a focused and productive environment for all students. For any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
Withdraw from Classes
To withdrawal from class, please notify Shannon Thomas through email at shannon@thelegacydancestudio.com to stop invoices and charges on your account and Autopay. If you do not notify us, your dancer will not be withdrawn from the class and your account will not be cancelled .
If a Legacy family decides to withdraw their student from any and all classes for any reason other than a qualified medical or family life change, any balances past due or any installment payments missed, even while inactive, would need to be paid in full to return and participate in the end of year Showcase or Re-register in the Fall.
Examples:
Medical – Note from Dr. that dancer cannot participate or hospitalization for medical problems
Life Change- Loss of job, family status change, death of a family member
